Rowing 2016/17  Season

Rowing at Hutchins is a successful but demanding sport. The program aims to develop rowers (which includes both oarsmen and coxes) to be proficient in the sport and hopes that all rowers will develop a love of rowing, will develop their own skills and strengths to their potential and will wish to take rowing to a further level beyond school.

Resources available for rowers, families and all interested in rowing which can be found on the Hutchins Rowing website include:
·        A comprehensive Rowing Handbook
·        Supporters information
·        The upcoming season calendar
·        Current season information on contacts, training times, etc

Rowing Uniform

For U14 up, a Hutchins ‘zoot-suit’, rowing long-sleeved top, and Hutchins cap are required for regattas.  These items are available at the School Shop. For U13 the Hutchins black polo shirt and black bike shorts rather than a zootie is also acceptable.  All boys should bring a change of warm clothes to training.
